Dear Residents,
Security and Safety is of prime concern for every one and hence the responsibility of all.
Security Guards are here to safeguard us and to carryout the instructions given to
them by the committee. Hence they should be treated with due regard. Complaints
if any, should be reported to the committee members whose names are given below.
Keeping these aspects in mind we give below the Rules and Guidelines that are to be
followed by the residents to make the living in RG premises safe and secure.
We request you to co-operate to make the Regency Garden Premises as safe as possible.

General
1. A duty Board will be displayed at the main gate which will bear the names of Shift Duty supervisors, Guards at each Tower, Patrolling persons and Clubhouse Guard.
2. All security personnel on duty will display identity cards.
3. Wearing of uniforms while on duty is mandatory.
4. Punctuality in reporting for duty should always be maintained.
5. Entry at the gate is categorized as under:-
a. Residents b. Visitors (pass holders) c. Visitors (non pass holders)
Pass holders are those persons for whom passes will be issued as they would be regular visitors to the RG premises ,such as delivery boys (e.g news paper) , society office workers, milkmen, maid servants etc., (Notice in this regard will be issued shortly)
Non pass holders are those who are occasional visitors, who may be guests of the residents, or other persons.
Traffic Regulation
1. Vehicle entry and exit through the gatehouse will be one way.(i.e always keep left)
2. All Vehicles of Regency Gardens will have, identifiable Regency Garden Stickers .Only these vehicles with designated parking slots will be allowed to park the vehicles within the RG premises.
3. Parking Stickers will be provided to the residents and no vehicle will be allowed inside if they do not have the stickers.(A notice will be issued in this regard)
4. Entry in the Register at the main gate, will be made of the Registration number of Vehicles, entering and exiting the premises by the security guards.
5. Non-pass holder cyclists will alight before the Gate and park the cycle out side.
6. Riding of Scooter and cycle near by Main Gate by under age children will not be entertained by the security Staff.
7. Main gate to remain closed between 11 pm till 5 am every day
8. Speed limit within RG premises for all vehicles is 15 km
9. Speed breaker should not be avoided while driving your vehicle.
10. Parking in a haphazard manner , in front of entrance of buildings or in anyway that hinders movement of people, vehicle or fire fighting equipments should be avoided.
11. Taxi’s , Auto rickshaws and tempos should not be parked within the premises for long time.
12. Stop and allow Children and Elders to cross first while driving .
13. Hired Drivers should be instructed to conduct themselves properly when they are inside the RG premises.
Visitor Management
1. All Visitors entering the premises at the main gate will be properly identified by their proof of identity .For non-pass holders reference check with the residents through inter-com will be made at the entrance gate.
2. Security in-charge at the respective building will keep a Register at the entry point to record the names of the non-pass holders.
3. For parties and congregation, security staff will exercise extra care and vigilance.
4. Regular staff such as maids, vendors, car cleaners, delivery boys etc., will have identity tag for fixed duration which will be renewed on expiry. Their identity card is subject to police verification.(please await a notice in this regard)
5. Courier boys and other delivery boys (e.g. Domino) would be allowed upon showing their identity and entry in the Register.
6. Socializing and idling by unauthorized persons will not be allowed at the Club house, main gate area , lawns and building lobby.
7. Any flat owner providing free access to his/her locked house for visitors, maids etc., should inform the security –in –charge, security committee in writing.
8. Gate pass should be obtained for items (that are not usual to be carried by that person), that are taken out of the building .Security guards should be vigilant in this regard.
Security Staff-Duties and discipline
1. Proper turnout and proper haircut will be essential for all security personnel.
2. Duty hours beyond allotted hours for security staff, will not be allowed.
3. Relief will have to be provided by the security contractors for any absence of security staff.
4. Patrolling staff will go around his beat every 30 min.
5. Security staff will not get into any arguments either with the residents, visitors, etc., instead the matter will be reported to the in-charge/supervisor and followed up with committee member looking after security.
6. Surprise inspection of security related documents will be done by the committee member as and when found necessary.
7. Important contacts of utility, emergency services such as fire station, police, water tanker, services, news papers, vendors etc will be kept for use at the gatehouse.
8. Security staff will be relieved of his duties only for a short duration when the replacement is in place, arranged by the security supervisor.
9. Security supervisor will have access to keys of the terrace which will be opened only in the presence of committee members in case of emergency.
10. A first aid kit will also be maintained at the gatehouse
11. Security will be responsible for flag hoisting as per the program finalized by the committee on REPUBLIC DAY and INDEPENDENCE DAY.
12. The security staff should assemble and undergo minimum drilling exercise before they take up their respective positions. This should take place both in the morning and evening when the change of guard takes place.
13. The security company should earmark assembly points in the complex and conduct various drills and training such as fire fighting etc., once in every three months.
14. The security guards will watch the conduct of guest/visitors at lawns especially coming for parties.
15. Security should be alert at all times and take rounds of the building under their supervision and should not indulge in chat sessions visitors/friends.
16. Any issues with residents should be reported to the security committee for necessary action.
